Our Team
One thing that our staff have in common is an understanding that when learning is fun and children are engaged – learning is memorable. We are very proud of the relaxed yet challenging environment that our dedicated team of professionals provide.
We are a diverse team, using our strengths and community partnerships to support a diverse and inspiring learning environment for students, teachers and parents alike.

Britanni Butterworth, School Director
MMedSci, B.A. (Hons)
Hello! My name is Britanni and I am the School Director. I love to see the transformation our students go through during their time at Chatmore. Our unique curriculum and 'the Chatmore Way' inspires all children to achieve their best. I enjoy seeing families daily at pick-up time as it is important to me to get to know our students and their families and ensure channels of communication are always open.

Andrea Cann, Asst. Director, FitKids
M.Sc, B.Ed
At school I'm known as Ms. Andi and love giving 100% everyday to the students. My passion is the sciences and fitness for everyone, and as a Physiotherapist I aim to ensure health and well being for all! I enjoy motivating students outside the classroom and seeing that spark new skills within the school building. Working together with the team, I love watching us achieve new goals and tasks towards creating a transformative learning space.

Yalonda Armstrong, Teacher Assistant, Reception & Primary
I've been part of the Chatmore team for over 7 years and I love working with the little ones! I always tell parents that when you have your children here at school, we are responsible for them as if they were our own. I feel part of the Chatmore family and hope to make every student and family feel the same. I love working with students one-on-one and learning new things every day.

Nelgene Barnett, Primary Teacher (Milepost 1)
I love coming to work everyday. It's a bold statement to make but I feel so excited to learn together with the students in Milepost 1! I am currently working towards my Masters in Education and like to use my growing knowledge to encourage a positive learning environment. I enjoy getting outdoors and watching the students make new discoveries through learning.

Tiffany Swainson, Primary Teacher (Milepost 2 & 3)
The curriculum at Chatmore is so wonderful and I really enjoy learning alongside my class everyday. I feel at home at Chatmore and really love being able to give 100% to all my students and their families. Math is my passion and I get so much out of running Math club because I get to see the lightbulb come on for learners through fun games.

Isabel Pugh, Secondary Teacher
Hi all, I’m Miss Izzy and I teach History, Geography, English and the IMYC curriculum at Chatmore. I’m from the UK and have always enjoyed taking part in a variety of different sport and dance disciplines and watching the occasional historical documentary. The whole Chatmore community from staff, students and parents made my first year at the school so positive and I really enjoy being part of this team. I look forward to building on academic progress through a great curriculum, an open learning environment and enthusiastic learners.

Jerome Stovell, Secondary Teacher
Chatmore is a great environment. The ability to pace the curriculum for every student is so beneficial for the confidence of every learner. Teaching IGCSE coursework is really interesting as we work to link it to real-world events. I also enjoy guiding the students through Leadership and Bermuda Cultural Studies & Civics. Beyond the classroom, I am an artist and musician and I am usually the one creating the playlists for pick-up time!

Danielle Bulloch, Study Skills & Pastoral Care
Connecting with families is something that comes naturally to me and I enjoy getting to know everyone better. I also find it energising to laugh and learn with the students in and outside of class. As a mom of 4, I have lots of practise with children at all phases and stages. I love being able to connect with students and bring a smile to their face with music and rhythm!

Alisa Cann, Afterschool Coordinator, School Administrator & Substitute Teacher
Afterschool & Camps is where you'll find me! I love cooking with the children or going on an outing. As a Masters level teacher, I've got over 25 years of experience so I love being able to guide students through their learning or boost their skills during their time with me. A historian at heart, I love exposing the children to old-school games and recipes. I'm also an avid bowler so you may see me on the lanes!
