Our staff are dedicated to ensuring each student has what they need to thrive academically and emotionally. Our personal approach means that we know who our students are, what their needs are and what it takes to help them succeed.
In their day-to-day learning, every student is supported in important but not always visible ways. In order to do this well, we know that parent involvement is critical; and that’s why we place so much emphasis on it. With an open-door policy and wide-open channels of communication, we make sure that every decision has the best interest of the student at heart. The most important way we can support our students and their families is by knowing them extremely well. And we do.
With in-house expertise, we can say with confidence that our students’ specific needs are being met all while knowing that the Chatmore ethos and approach is being upheld. As with any mainstream school, support will be required for students needing to fill gaps in learning or needing to be challenged in areas of strength. We have in-house access to a Reading Specialist, Speech-Language Therapist, Behaviour Therapist and Physiotherapist. Our Head Teacher, a qualified Fieldwork Education Trainer, ensures we are tailoring the curriculum appropriately to our students.
The support doesn’t stop there. Chatmore is open to working with other community experts as we make every effort to ensure our students achieve and are challenged appropriately.
